AI Book Summaries provides AI-generated summaries of books. The Service includes:

• Personal library to save favorite summaries
• Extended summaries for premium subscribers

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for:

Free users have access to a limited number of summaries per day. This limit may change at our discretion.

4.2 Premium Subscription

• Premium subscriptions are billed annually through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing periods.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AI Book Summaries and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 AI-Generated Summaries

• Summaries are generated using artificial intelligence and are provided for informational and educational purposes
• Summaries are not a substitute for reading the original work
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated summaries
• Summaries may contain errors or omissions

5.3 Third-Party Content

Book covers and metadata are sourced from third-party services. We do not claim ownership of this content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit AI-generated summaries
• Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Circumvent usage limits or restrictions
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated summaries

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI BOOK SUMMARIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Book Summaries and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

17. Apple App Store Terms

If you access the Service through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services with respect to the Service.
